I stuck this patch on my travel mug that goes everywhere. It's taken a beating and the patch holds up well. I clean up the recycled poly material with a little dish soap and a brush when it starts to look dirty.
You can apply it with just the adhesive backing, or if applying it to fabric, you can apply additional heat with hair dryer/iron or similar method to really lock it on to the material.
(Cleaned it up before taking this pic - it's been on for 14 months!)
